1.

Getting nice

Don’t you think
—Yes
it’s weird there’s snow in Naples
—Not yet

We had to sew our feet and
now bread makes your skin bleed.

I’m sorry I said that I want to
write something nice.

Twisting in supine and
the house with blue walls.
To tear and leak, remembering.

I inhale the waft.
That old phone has your numbers
without a name, but us
still in the pixels, stamped 
for always. 

A person on a walk
holds a book to their face. 
Moon bathed for the first time in months,
swallowed some beginnings.

Notes while watching "Waking Life" (2002 dir. Linklater)

Creation comes from imperfection
Words are just symbols, dead

So much of our experience is intangible like saying “love” are you really getting the whole thing no, so you have to feel to understand, it’s spiritual transcendence

Sleep walking through life
Wake walking through dream, lucid tricks like the light won’t switch on,
the clock digits wobble
