I don’t think lost time is real, I think existence negates disappearance and the past holds everything forever,, like if I ate a strawberry on June 12,,, 2009 then I ate a strawberry on June 12 2009, permanent mark. I have no memory of the event but it happened and it lives in 2009 for always and the present unfolds in the shadows of future,, like how I told the story twice and then she texted me after a full year silent,,, all that’s lived, all that had (has/ and will have) seconds is stored on a beginningless carpet and thank u carpet maker ((my veins look like tree roots)).
Cusper Magazine’s Issue 2 is called “Lost Time” and they published these two pieces of mine,, made from drafts of my novel-in-progress. The screenshots span 5 years,,, words I strung together as another I, not lost,, just different.
AND SURE,,, ok… maybe WE can’t access all the everything moments, but I believe in their untouchable existence,, somewhere,,, somewhen. Endings don’t wipe out what came before them, even the unremembered.
Time holds all. And what holds time
